Never Lacking in Zeal - March 26

"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord." Romans 12:11

"Enthusiasm is the electricity of life. How do you get it? You act enthusiastic until you make it a habit." - Gordon Parks

Romans 12:11 exhorts believers to maintain zeal and fervour in serving the Lord. Zeal is the passion and enthusiasm that propels us forward, igniting momentum in our faith journey and endeavours. It is the fuel that keeps us motivated, focused, and committed to our calling. As we serve the Lord with zeal, we cultivate momentum that drives us toward spiritual growth, impactful service, and ultimately, the fulfillment of God's purposes in our lives.

Let your zeal propel you to give your best effort and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Stay alert to signs of spiritual stagnation and take proactive steps to reignite your passion for God and His purposes.

Prayer and Meditation:

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of zeal and spiritual fervour that you have placed within me. Help me to cultivate and maintain zeal in serving me, keeping my spiritual fervour alive and vibrant. Ignite within me a passion for your kingdom and empower me to serve you with excellence and dedication. May my zeal for you fuel momentum in my faith journey and lead to the fulfillment of your purposes in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
