Go Ahead - March 12

Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. Ezekiel 1:12

Prophet Ezekiel describes the vision of four living creatures moving straight ahead without turning. This vision reflects the concept of momentum, the force that propels us forward in our journey of faith and life. Momentum is about progress, moving with purpose and direction even in the face of uncertainty or challenges.

The prophet also highlights the unique movement of each living creature in the vision, emphasizing their individuality even as they moved together in unity. Similarly, we each have our own path to follow, guided by the Spirit's leading. This verse reminds us to honour and celebrate our individuality while embracing the collective momentum of progress and growth.

Like the living creatures in Ezekiel's vision, embrace the idea of moving forward without hesitation or turning back. Trust in God's guidance and allow His Spirit to lead you in the direction He has ordained for your life.

Prayer and Meditation:

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of momentum that propels us forward in our journey of faith and life. Help us to embrace change and progress, moving with purpose and direction as we follow your leading. Grant us the strength to overcome obstacles and the wisdom to adapt to new circumstances. May our lives be a testament to your faithfulness and grace as we journey forward in faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.
