Growing in Truth and Love - February 2

 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. Ephesians 4:15

"Change is the essence of life; be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become." - Reinhold Niebuhr

Ephesians 4:15 reminds us to speak the truth in love, but Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6). Just as a body grows and matures, so too are we called to grow spiritually and become more like Christ - our ultimate example of truth.

Commit to speaking the truth in love in your interactions with others. Be honest and transparent, yet compassionate and empathetic. Seek opportunities to encourage and build others up, even when addressing difficult truths.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as we journey towards growth and maturity, grant us the courage to speak the truth in love. Teach us to embrace change and surrender ourselves to Your transformative work in our lives. May we be vessels of Your truth and love, shining brightly in a world in need of Your grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
