Devotion and Honour - February 5


"Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10

These words carry profound wisdom for nurturing healthy and enriching relationships, both within our faith community and in our interactions with others. Devotion implies a deep commitment and dedication to the well-being and flourishing of others. It involves selflessly investing our time, energy, and resources in nurturing meaningful relationships. Honour entails recognizing the inherent worth and dignity of every individual, regardless of their status or position.

Take intentional steps to show your love, support, and respect for them through your words and actions. Whether it's a family member, friend, colleague, or neighbor, let them know that they are valued and appreciated.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of relationships and the opportunity to love and honor one another. Teach us to be devoted to one another in love and to honor one another above ourselves. May our relationships be characterized by genuine care, respect, and affirmation, reflecting Your love and grace. Give us the strength and wisdom to cultivate healthy and enriching connections with those around us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
